Job summary

ExcelliSearch, Inc. in Rock Hill, SC, is seeking a contract Phlebotomist (Pherlab route 5955). The role runs 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday, for about 3 months with potential conversion to permanent employment.

You will perform blood draws, label specimens, and manage transport and documentation while adhering to safety regulations. Qualifications include state phlebotomy certification, 6 months of venipuncture experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens accurately.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Decontaminate work areas and update patient information.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Match requisition forms to specimens and ensure correct labeling.
• Package specimens for transport and store per protocol.
• Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations and attend trainings.
