Job summary

Sora Resource Group in Oceanside, CA is seeking a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract. Shifts run 6 AM to 6 PM, with weekend rotation and potential coverage at PSC locations in Vista and Encinitas. Mileage expenses are paid.

Valid phlebotomy certification and minimal experience are required. Training and support are provided in a fast-paced lab environment. The role entails blood collection, specimen handling, and ensuring compliance with OSHA/DEP regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and specimen labeling.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture procedures clearly and courteously to patients.
• Package and transport specimens following required protocols.
• Ensure specimens are stored at required temperatures and properly labeled.
