Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture procedures and collect specimens.
• Label, centrifuge, and prepare specimens per test orders.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Maintain specimen integrity and proper storage.
• Ensure OSHA and DEP regulations are followed.
• Attend annual department trainings.
• Answer calls and relay lab results.
