Ridgemont Resources, Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist in Fairbanks, AK, working 8AM to 5PM, Monday through Friday. The role involves blood draws, specimen labeling, and processing as part of a fast-paced laboratory team.

Safety procedures and OSHA/DEP guidelines are followed; experience with venipuncture and specimen transport is essential. The contract position has a potential for permanent placement, with a minimum of 6 months’ relevant experience and a High School Diploma or GED required.

Formación

• Minimum 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.

Responsabilidades

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures and explains the venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Matches laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes and packages specimens for transport; ensures correct labeling and temperature control.
