Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and collect specimens.
• Label, centrifuge, and store specimens per protocol.
• Document maintenance data and patient information accurately.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and caregivers.
• Pack and transport specimens following proper temperature controls.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations and attend trainings.
• Answer inquiries and communicate test status to staff
