Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and venipuncture with proper technique.
• Label, centrifuge, and store specimens per protocol.
• Document patient information and maintenance data accurately.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Ensure requisitions match specimen tubes and test orders.
• Package specimens for transport and maintain specimen integrity.
• Adhere to OSHA/DEP regulations and participate in trainings.
