Northwest Texas Healthcare System, located in Amarillo, TX, is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform venipunctures, capillary blood collections, POCT, and related duties under the supervision of the Phlebotomy Coordinator. The role supports the Department of Laboratory Services and the hospital's standards of Service Excellence.

You will assist in training phlebotomy students and new staff, helping integrate the department into overall hospital operations.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required; phlebotomy program preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification (PBT ASCP) required or eligible within 12 months of employment.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire or within 30 days.

Responsabilidades

• Perform venipunctures, capillary collections, and POCT under supervision.
• Assist in training phlebotomy students and new staff; ensure adherence to policies.
