Job summary

Centurion is seeking a Full-Time Phlebotomist/CNA to join our team at Union Correctional Institution in Raiford, Florida. The role combines phlebotomy and direct patient care within a correctional healthcare setting.

The Phlebotomist/CNA must hold a Florida CNA license, phlebotomy certification, and CPR certification. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 3:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., with comprehensive health, retirement, and time-off benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Florida CNA license is required.
• Phlebotomy certification is required.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• One year experience in acute care, long term care, emergency or correctional setting preferred.
• Corrections experience not required.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, including drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Phlebotomist responsibilities include drawing blood, checking vital signs, finger stick blood sugars, and assisting with activities of daily living for patients in a correctional healthcare environment.
• CNA responsibilities include direct patient care, supporting personal hygiene, daily living needs and vital sign monitoring under nursing, medical and psychiatric supervision.
