Job summary

Centurion is seeking a full-time Phlebotomist/CNA to join Union Correctional Institution in Raiford, FL. The Phlebotomist will draw blood, monitor vital signs, perform finger-stick glucose testing, and assist with daily living activities for inmates within a correctional health setting.

The CNA works under nursing and medical staff to deliver direct patient care, including hygiene, daily living support and vital sign monitoring.

Qualifications

• Florida CNA license is required.
• Phlebotomy certification is required.
• One year of experience in acute care, long term care, emergency or correctional settings preferred.
• Corrections experience not required.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance (drug screen and background check).

Responsibilities

• Draw blood and check vital signs, finger-stick glucose.
• Assist with activities of daily living for incarcerated patients.
• Provide direct patient care under supervision of nursing/medical staff.
