The Clinical Services Technician collects specimens across all age groups with minimal patient impact. They are responsible for processing and allocating laboratory specimens and orders from various sources. The technician verifies proper patient and specimen identification, ensures the appropriateness of specimens and accompanying orders, and organizes laboratory workflow by prioritizing processing and distribution of specimens. They utilize necessary equipment, instruments, and computer systems to test requests, accession, label, and deliver specimens to appropriate laboratory sections within acceptable time frames. The technician performs specified procedures within the scope of established testing methods and responsibilities, conducts routine maintenance and quality control on equipment, troubleshoots as needed, and performs other duties as assigned.

Phlebotomy Preferred
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required; Graduate Phlebotomy Preferred
At least 1 year of clinical experience as a Phlebotomist required, or equivalent education
