Sentara Health in Norfolk, VA is seeking an experienced Phlebotomist - Clinical Lab Assistant to join our team on a part-time days schedule. Responsibilities include patient phlebotomy, specimen labeling and processing, data entry, and registration.

The role requires a High School Grad or Equivalent, with Phlebotomy course and/or certification preferred. BLS within 90 days of hire is required, and 1 year of experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Overview

As a phlebotomist-clinical lab assistant the duties are to perform patient phlebotomy while maintaining the highest level of customer service. Collects, labels, and processes patient specimens for testing. Responsible for registration and test data entry. Monitors supply levels.
