Qualifications

• Completion of a phlebotomy program (accredited postsecondary school or equivalent)
• Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification (Associate/Phlebotomist/Senior)
• 6 months phlebotomy experience (Phlebotomist)
• 3 years phlebotomy experience (Senior Phlebotomist)

Responsibilities

• Obtain accurate and reliable blood and body fluid specimens from identified patients
• Prepare and ensure specimen integrity and log/distribute specimens to testing areas
• Maintain quality relationships with clients and staff
• Senior Phlebotomist: perform all duties independently and handle higher workload targets
