We are seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a client office, providing exceptional customer service, performing skilled specimen collections, and representing the company. Opportunities for growth within the organization are available.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm

Location: Knoxville, TN, 37920 (UT Cancer Center)

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Accurately and promptly enter patient information into data systems
• Process billing information and collect payments as needed
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain logs of patient and specimen information
• Deliver superior customer service to all patients
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as required
• Travel to additional sites when necessary

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency (preferred)
• Previous experience as a phlebotomist
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Reliable transportation and a clean driving record if applicable
• Flexibility for overtime as needed
• Ability to pass a color blindness test

Benefits: Employees scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO or FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
