Job summary

Labcorp, a global leader in diagnostic testing, seeks a Phlebotomist - Bilingual Float in Suffern, NY. You will travel to multiple sites to perform venipuncture, collect various specimens, enter data accurately and support billing processes while delivering excellent patient service.

This floating role offers exposure to diverse clinics and patient populations, with a pay range and a bonus/incentive structure described in the posting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program.
• 1 year or more of active phlebotomy experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.

LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist - Bilingual Float to join our team in Suffern, NY (Rockland/Westchester County).

• Needs to be able to travel to the following cities: Suffern, Nanuet, Pomona, & New City
• Needs to be able to travel & provide coverage when required: New Rochelle & Yonkers

Work Schedule

Monday – Friday, as early as 6:30am and as late as 4:30pm, rotating Saturdays, as early as 7am and as late as 2pm.

Job Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or a completed training program from an accredited agency
• 1 year or more of active phlebotomy experience
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication (listening, verbal, and written)
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record with reliable transportation
• Be at least 21 years old

• Pay Range: $16.07/hour to $27.77/hour

Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics

Float Incentive

Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement

Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
