Job description

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist I to support our client’s medical facility based in Bartlesville, OK 74006. This is a contract position with a possible extension opportunity and a great way to start working with a top‑tier healthcare organization.

Location: Bartlesville, OK 74006

Schedule: 3rd shift. 7 pm - 7 am. Rotating weekends (40 hr/week)

Pay Range: $18–$20.12/hr (offered pay rate based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials; based on years of direct experience as listed in the resume)

Responsibilities
  • Experience doing blood draws, labelling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc.
  • Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
  • Properly explain in a clear but courteous manner the process of the venipuncture (blood drawing) and or other specimen collection (ex. urine or fecal) as required.
  • Demonstrate technique using straight needles and/or butterfly needles.
  • Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required by test order.
  • Package specimens for transport.
  • Store specimen samples according to the required temperature, place samples in appropriate collection container/tube, accurately label and follow different procedures as outlined by specific protocols deemed necessary to maintain the integrity of the specimen during transport.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience required.
