Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a part-time Phlebotomist for Robinson Correctional Center in Robinson, IL. You will draw blood, monitor vitals, and assist with daily living activities for inmates in a correctional healthcare environment.

Qualified candidates have completed a phlebotomy program, hold a high school diploma or GED, and are CPR/BLS certified. Corrections or behavioral health experience is preferred, and security clearance is required.

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Illinois Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a Part-time Phlebotomist to join our team at Robinson Correctional Center located in Robinson, Illinois.

The Phlebotomist is responsible for drawing blood, checking vital signs, finger stick blood sugars, and assisting with the activities of daily living for patients in a correctional healthcare environment.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 4:00am-8:00am

Qualifications

• Completed a certified phlebotomy training program (required)
• Be a high school graduate or hold a GED
• At least one year of experience working as a phlebotomist preferred
• Experience working in corrections/behavioral health preferred
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/BLS
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
