The Keystone Distinction Group is seeking a phlebotomist for a contract role in Anchorage, AK. Schedule is 8AM–5PM, Monday through Friday, with an initial 3-month duration and potential for permanent placement.

Responsibilities include performing venipuncture, labeling and processing specimens, and ensuring accurate patient information is recorded. Minimum qualifications include valid phlebotomy certification and 6 months of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Label, centrifuge, and store specimens according to procedures.
• Record maintenance data and decontamination activities.

The main function of a phlebotomist is to assist in performing various assigned duties, trouble shooting, training and making work flow recommendations.

Position Responsibilities:Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc. Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
