Contributes to the Hospitals mission by drawing blood from patients and collecting and documenting specimens based on physician orders. This clinical staff position is the face of the lab and their effort starts the whole laboratory process, providing phlebotomy draws with attention to patient comfort and the physician orders. Timely and accurate processing and documentation of the specimens impact the entire laboratory process.
Education Required : High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience Required : Phlebotomy experience or certification.
Experience Preferred : At least one year of clerical or secretarial experience.
