Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Bloomington, IN is hiring a part-time plasma donor screener with phlebotomy duties to support center operations. Shifts are typically 4–6 hours, 3+ days per week, and schedules are discussed during interviews.

You will screen donors, document vital signs, manage donor charts, and coordinate donor compensation while maintaining safety and quality standards. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and use the Donor Information System.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
  • Ability to lift 5 lbs. and occasionally lift materials up to 32 lbs., rarely 50 lbs.
  • Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a customer‑or patient‑facing role is helpful.

About The Role

What You Bring

  • Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
  • Because of potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens (risk level 1), 90 % of work tasks require prolonged glove wear.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a customer‑or patient‑facing role is helpful.
Compensation and Benefits

Location: USA – IN – Bloomington
Starting hourly wage: $16.00, in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements.

U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, and vision insurance; a 401(k) plan with company match; short‑term and long‑term disability coverage; basic life insurance; tuition reimbursement; paid volunteer time off; company holidays; and well‑being benefits. Employees may receive up to 80 hours of sick time per year and, for new hires, up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
