Shift: 2:30 AM - 6:30 AM; Weekend and/or Holiday Rotation

We are one of the largest integrated laboratory networks serving hospitals in the Midwest region, including 32 hospitals and multiple physician offices.

What Will You Do

This role involves collecting blood specimens, performing laboratory office duties, and processing laboratory specimens. Office duties include registering patients, accurately entering data into the computer system, accessioning specimens, answering calls, and managing paperwork. Specimen processing includes preparing specimens for testing or for transfer to the central or reference laboratories. The role also involves handling blood, body fluids, and urine specimens according to established procedures, and performing limited waived and non-waived POC tests as authorized by the Laboratory Director. In some facilities, this individual may also act as a driver and participate in on-call rotations.

What We Are Looking For
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Previous phlebotomy experience and/or training
  • Background in a medical laboratory and/or knowledge of medical terminology (preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
  • Willingness to travel/drive to other locations if required
