Role Description

The Phlebotomist role at Promedica Flower Hospital is an on-site position located in the Toledo, Ohio Metropolitan Area. The phlebotomist is responsible for performing venipuncture and other blood collection procedures, properly labeling and handling specimens, and ensuring accurate documentation in accordance with hospital protocols. Day-to-day tasks include preparing patients for blood draws, explaining procedures, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and following infection control and safety standards. The role also involves collaborating with laboratory staff and clinical teams, responding to patient questions or concerns, and supporting efficient workflow in the lab and patient care areas.

Qualifications
