GTT is seeking a Phlebotomist I in Tallahassee, FL for a 5-month contract. The role requires collecting and preparing blood specimens for testing, with on-site work and rotational weekend hours. Overtime may be available, and the candidate must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Phlebotomist I

Location: Tallahassee, FL

Onsite Flexibility: Onsite

Contract Details

• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 5 months
• Pay Rate: $19.85–$21.26 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Mon–Fri 9:00 AM–1:00 PM; Saturday 7:00 AM–12:00 PM (rotational)
• Overtime: Overtime availability expected

Job Summary

The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the face of the company to patients who come in, both as part of their health routine or for insights into life-defining health decisions. The PSR I draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures. The PSR I has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe and accurate manner. The PSR I will demonstrate Leadership Behaviors while focusing on process excellence skills and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy to patient information.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent — Required
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training — preferred
• Phlebotomy certification — preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington)

Required Experience

• Minimum of 6 months experience — Required

Nice-to-Have Experience

• One (1) year phlebotomy experience preferred
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred
