Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC in Brandon, FL is seeking a Phlebotomist for a 4-month contract. Onsite position with a Monday–Friday schedule and every third Saturday, earning $19.85–$21.26 per hour.

The PSR I role centers on drawing quality blood samples and preparing specimens for lab testing in a patient-facing environment. The ideal candidate will have at least a high school diploma, phlebotomy training or certification, and a minimum of 6 months experience.

Contract Details

• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 4 months
• Pay Rate: $19.85–$21.26 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Monday – Friday with every third Saturday, 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Job Summary

The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the face of the company to patients who come in, both as part of their health routine or for insights into life-defining health decisions. The PSR I draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures. The PSR I has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe and accurate manner. The PSR I will demonstrate Leadership Behaviors while focusing on process excellence skills and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy to patient information.

Required Skills

• Ability to provide quality, error free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent — Required
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training — preferred
• Phlebotomy certification — preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington)

Required Experience

• Minimum of 6 months experience — Required

Nice-to-Have Experience

• One (1) year phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Overtime may be required.
