Summary The Phlebotomist draws blood samples to be used for diagnostic testing and transports samples to the appropriate laboratory. Provides updates to the patient areas on results of the tests. Performs appropriate CLIA waived routine tests or procedures in a clinical laboratory.
Minimum: Skill in communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral and verbal format to achieve high productivity and efficiency. Skill to write legibly and record information accurately as necessary to perform job duties.
Preferred: Hospital phlebotomy experience.
Minimum: Basic computer literacy.
Preferred: Training as acquired in an approved phlebotomy training program
