Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join a Medical Clinic in Westminster, CO. The role involves blood collection, patient service, and specimen processing with regular hours from 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday. Travel to other sites may be required.

A strong focus on accurate data entry and customer service is essential. Minimum qualifications include a High School diploma; preferred are phlebotomy certification and 6+ months of experience.

We are currently seeking a Phlebotomist to work in either a Patient Service Center or Client office. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at a Medical Clinic in Westminster, CO. 80031. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday from 8:30am - 5:30pm, additional hours/days may be requested in this role.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
• 6 or more months of experience as a Phlebotomist

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision

*QUARTERLY INCENTIVE BONUS PROGRAM* : Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $21.73 to $28.49 per hour

• Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
• Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
