Job summary

Sonic Healthcare USA in Salem, AR is seeking a compassionate phlebotomist to provide patient-focused care. You’ll perform venipuncture on patients of all ages and collect/prepare specimens while upholding safety and quality standards.

This full-time role offers benefits, PTO, holidays, and retirement options. You’ll join a team dedicated to precision, confidentiality of PHI, and delivering excellent service in a busy clinical laboratory setting.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification from ASPT is preferred.
• Phlebotomy training or experience required.

Responsibilities

• Collect/prepare non-blood specimens.
• Ensure proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.

This opportunity is:

Location: Salem, AR 72576
Days & Hours: Monday- Thursday 8am-pm Friday 8am-1pm
Full-time: Benefit Eligible

In this role, you will:

• Provide exceptional patient care and customer-focused service.
• Perform venipuncture on patients of all ages.

All you need is:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous phlebotomy training or experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer and data entry skills

Bonus points if you’ve got:

• 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing
• Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians
