Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm and rotating Saturdays.

Job Overview

Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist to perform specimen collection and related duties at a Patient Service Center or client office. The role involves providing exceptional customer service, maintaining accurate records, and supporting billing and specimen preparation.

Responsibilities
  • Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
  • Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other lab assessments.
  • Enter patient information accurately and promptly.
  • Process billing information and collect payments as required.
  • Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
  • Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
  • Provide superior customer service to all patients.
  • Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
  • Travel to additional sites when needed.
Qualifications
  • High‑school diploma or GED, or equivalent.
  • Phlebotomy certification or completed training program, or 3months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
  • Preferred: 1year or more of phlebotomy experience.
Job Standards
  • Certification must be obtained from an accredited agency if work experience is substituted.
  • Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
  • Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.
