American Health Associates, Inc. is seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to service Cadiz, Ohio, visiting patient homes and skilled nursing facilities.

The role offers part-time, flexible scheduling and the chance to bring diagnostic services directly to patients in Harrison County. The ideal candidate will have phlebotomy certification (preferred) or at least one year of experience, strong venipuncture skills with elderly patients, and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

The role

Are you a skilled phlebotomist who enjoys working independently and providing exceptional patient care? We’re seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to join our growing team serving patients throughout Harrison County — visiting patient homes, skilled nursing and assisted living communities, and bringing quality laboratory services directly to the people who need them most.

What your day looks like

• Travel to patient homes, nursing and assisted living facilities, and other healthcare locations across Cadiz, Ohio
• Collect blood specimens using expert venipuncture and capillary collection techniques
• Verify patient identification and ensure accurate specimen labeling, integrity, and transport
• Provide professional, compassionate service to elderly patients and healthcare partners
• Complete required documentation and communicate clearly with laboratory and facility personnel

What you bring

• Phlebotomy certification preferred; minimum one year of phlebotomy experience preferred
• Strong venipuncture skills, especially with elderly patients
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, current auto insurance (100/300/100), and minimum age 21
• Clean criminal history, as required for positions with direct patient care; some states require additional background checks including fingerprinting.
• Home Draws: Minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy work experience required; additional credentialing requirements must be successfully completed prior to working on our Home Draw team!
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• The self-direction to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
• Must possess a passion for SAFETY and CUSTOMER SERVICE
