Job summary

American Health Associates is hiring a Mobile Phlebotomist to serve Cadiz, Ohio and surrounding Harrison County communities. This role offers part-time & flexible schedules with travel to patient homes and care facilities, performing blood draws and delivering quality patient service.

You will collect specimens, verify patient identity, label samples, and document activities for the laboratory team. Previous phlebotomy certification and experience are preferred, with a strong emphasis on safety

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification preferred; minimum one year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Strong venipuncture skills, especially with elderly patients.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and insurance; must be 21+.
• Clean criminal history as required for direct patient care; background checks may apply.
• Home Draws: 3+ years phlebotomy experience and credentialing prior to joining.

Responsibilities

The role

Are you a skilled phlebotomist who enjoys working independently and providing exceptional patient care? We’re seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to join our growing team serving patients throughout Harrison County — visiting patient homes, skilled nursing and assisted living communities, and bringing quality laboratory services directly to the people who need them most.

What your day looks like

• Travel to patient homes, nursing and assisted living facilities, and other healthcare locations across Cadiz, Ohio
• Collect blood specimens using expert venipuncture and capillary collection techniques
• Verify patient identification and ensure accurate specimen labeling, integrity, and transport
• Provide professional, compassionate service to elderly patients and healthcare partners
• Complete required documentation and communicate clearly with laboratory and facility personnel

What you bring

• Phlebotomy certification preferred; minimum one year of phlebotomy experience preferred
• Strong venipuncture skills, especially with elderly patients
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, current auto insurance (100/300/100), and minimum age 21
• Clean criminal history, as required for positions with direct patient care; some states require additional background checks including fingerprinting.
• Home Draws: Minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy work experience required; additional credentialing requirements must be successfully completed prior to working on our Home Draw team!
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• The self-direction to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
• Must possess a passion for SAFETY and CUSTOMER SERVICE
