Job summary

Equity Staffing Group is seeking a Phlebotomist for an on-site role in Norwood, MA 02062. This contract position runs for 6 months with potential extension or conversion to a full-time role, paying $24 per hour.

Start ASAP, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm. Responsibilities include venipuncture and capillary blood collection, releasing orders, distributing collection kits, and explaining self-collection procedures.

Qualifications

• 2+ years phlebotomy experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Pediatrics experience is a plus.

Duration: 6 Month contract to start, potential for Extension/Conversion to FTE

Rate: $24/Hr

Description:

Patient facing direct patient care position performing venipuncture/capillary blood collection procedures. Staff also release orders, hand out collection kits, explain self collection procedures, perform fingerstick INRs and other point of care testing procedures as well as centrifuging, processing samples for transport to central lab.

This role is critical in being able to provide timely accurate results that our providers use in treatment and diagnosis decisions for our patients.

The position would be for Monday through Friday, 8am-4:30pm.

Half hour lunch, no weekends or holidays.

Must have qualifications/experience: Busy site, 2+ years experience needed.
