University Cancer & Blood Center is seeking a Phlebotomist for the Monroe and Winder locations. The role involves traveling to satellite sites as needed. This full-time position runs Monday through Friday with hours varying by location.

Responsibilities include calling back patients for providers, drawing blood, obtaining vitals, and assisting in patient rooming or escorting to treatment areas. A certified phlebotomist with teamwork and a positive attitude is required.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Phlebotomist.
• Previous medical experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A positive attitude is a must!

• Draw lab work ordered by provider: finger stick, venipuncture, etc.
• Room patients or escort to treatment area.

Job Description:

University Cancer & Blood Center is hiring for a Phlebotomist for our Monroe and Winder locations. Travel to other satellite locations may be necessary. This position is full time, Monday - Friday; hours may vary depending on location.

Job Duties:

• Call each patient back for assigned provider
• Obtain full vitals on patients
• Draw all lab work ordered by provider: finger stick, venipuncture, etc
• Room patients or escort to treatment area
• Clean and stock lab area

Requirements:

• Must be a Certified Phlebotomist
• Previous medical experience preferred
• Must have the ability to work individually and as a team
• A positive attitude is a must!
