Job summary

University Cancer & Blood Center in Monroe and Winder is seeking a full-time Phlebotomist. Travel to satellite locations may be required. Hours are Monday–Friday; vary by location. Responsibilities include calling patients, obtaining vitals, collecting specimens, and assisting in patient flow.

Qualified candidates must be certified phlebotomists with prior medical experience preferred and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. A positive attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Phlebotomist.
• Previous medical experience preferred.
• Must have the ability to work individually and as a team.

Responsibilities

• Call each patient back for assigned provider.
• Obtain full vitals on patients.
• Draw all lab work ordered by provider: finger stick, venipuncture, etc.
• Room patients or escort to treatment area.
• Clean and stock lab area.

Job Description

University Cancer & Blood Center is hiring for a Phlebotomist for our Monroe and Winder locations. Travel to other satellite locations may be necessary. This position is full time, Monday - Friday; hours may vary depending on location.
