Job summary

Labcorp in McMinnville, OR is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform blood collections, collect specimens, and enter patient data. The role supports high-quality patient care across multiple site locations and requires strong communication skills and a phlebotomy credential or training.

The schedule includes varied shifts and potential overtime. A high school diploma is required; phlebotomy certification or training is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a Phlebotomist.
• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

Work Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:00 am to 1:30 pm Tuesday and Thursday 10:00 am to 3:30 pm

Job Responsibilities

QUARTERLY INCENTIVE BONUS PROGRAM

Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics
