Job summary

American Health Associates, Inc. is seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to service Kalamazoo, Michigan, visiting patient homes, nursing facilities, and assisted living communities.

This role offers part-time and flexible schedules with a focus on compassionate patient care. The ideal candidate has phlebotomy certification and some experience, with strong venipuncture skills and a commitment to safety and excellent service as you travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification preferred; minimum one year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Strong venipuncture skills, esp. with elderly patients.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, current auto insurance (100/300/100), and minimum age 21.
• Clean criminal history, as required for positions with direct patient care; some states require background checks including fingerprinting.
• Home Draw: minimum of 3 years phlebotomy work experience; credentials required before Home Draw work.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes, nursing and assisted living facilities, and other healthcare locations in Kalamazoo, MI.
• Collect blood specimens using venipuncture and capillary collection techniques.
• Verify patient identification and ensure proper labeling, integrity, and transport of specimens.
• Provide professional, compassionate service to elderly patients and healthcare partners.
• Complete required documentation and communicate with laboratory and facility personnel.

The role

Are you a skilled phlebotomist who enjoys working independently and providing exceptional patient care? We’re seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to join our growing team serving patients throughout Kalamazoo — visiting patient homes, skilled nursing and assisted living communities, and bringing quality laboratory services directly to the people who need them most.

What your day looks like

• Travel to patient homes, nursing and assisted living facilities, and other healthcare locations across Kalamazoo, MI
• Collect blood specimens using expert venipuncture and capillary collection techniques
• Verify patient identification and ensure accurate specimen labeling, integrity, and transport
• Provide professional, compassionate service to elderly patients and healthcare partners
• Complete required documentation and communicate clearly with laboratory and facility personnel
