Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at a client site in Greeneville, TN. The role involves collecting blood samples, preparing specimens for testing, and maintaining accurate patient records.

Requirements include a high school diploma and phlebotomy certification or training, with preference for 1 year of phlebotomy experience. Schedule is Mon-Thu 8am-5pm, Fri 8am-4pm; travel to additional sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.

• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.

Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm, Friday 8am - 4pm

Job Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Travel to additional sites when needed, reliable transportation

Employee Incentives

• PST’s may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics

Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
