Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Patient Service Center in Gambrills, MD. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, and provide exceptional customer service.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED; phlebotomy certification or training or 3+ months experience. Preference for 1 year or more phlebotomy experience. Travel to additional sites may be needed; overtime may be required.

• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Travel to additional sites as needed, reliable transportation.

• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Gambrills, MD.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am-3:30pm and every other Saturday 7:00am-11:00am

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience

Additional Job Standards:

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency may meet requirements

We are currently seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a Patient Service Center. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. In addition, you will be provided with opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.

PST's may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

Pay Range

$17.75 - $26.00 per hour. All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.

• Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
• Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
