UPMC Hamot is seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist to perform accurate blood collection for inpatients and outpatients, supporting diagnostic processes. You will work under supervision with Medical Technologists in a fast-paced, patient-facing environment.
The role requires attention to detail, dependability, and the ability to handle routine and emergency draws, including a 4:00am-12:30pm shift with occasional weekends and holidays.

This position is full-time, 4:00am-12:30pm. Occasional weekend and holiday coverage required.
Title and salary will be determined based upon education and experience.
This position has the responsibility and accountability for accurately performing phlebotomy and specimen collection of inpatients and/or outpatients. Samples collected by the phlebotomist are used for laboratory test procedures that are essential in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The Phlebotomist may also perform computer, courier, and clerical functions that are essential to laboratory operations. The Phlebotomist works in conjunction with and under the supervision of the Medical Technologists.
Phlebotomy Technician (PBT(ASCP)) or equivalent certification preferred.
