Job description

Join to apply for the Phlebotomist role at CSL.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Efficient collection of plasma through venipuncture, monitoring the pheresis process, and following SOPs.
  2. Performing all aspects of the pheresis procedure, including donor setup, monitoring, and disconnect, in compliance with SOPs and FDA guidelines.
  3. Evaluating vein performance, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring donor safety and comfort.
  4. Educating donors about plasma donation, answering questions, and maintaining donor relations.
  5. Recording incidents and donor data accurately in the management system.
  6. Maintaining a clean work environment, ensuring safety and confidentiality, and complying with HSE and OSHA policies.
  7. Possibility of cross-training and requirement of bilingual skills, depending on organizational needs.
  8. Performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 12 months of experience in healthcare preferred or equivalent education/experience.
  • For CA centers: Certified Phlebotomy Technician I or current Registered Nurse license.
