Job summary

Synectics Inc. is seeking a Patient Services Representative II to be the first point of contact for patients arriving for routine care or testing insights into health decisions.

The PSR II will draw quality blood samples, prepare specimens for lab testing, and explain procedures to patients, ensuring accurate labeling, proper documentation, and a safe, professional environment across locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
• 1-3 years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
• 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
• Ability to provide quality, error free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must be able to travel to multiple locations with minimal notice.

• Capable of handling multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.

• Customer service in a retail or service environment highly preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Must list home city/commute time to jobsite on resume (should be within 20-25 MINUTES TO SITE) - rate is based on years of DIRECT PHLEBOTOMY EXPERIENCE as listed in resume.
