Rush University Medical Center is seeking a skilled phlebotomist to perform phlebotomy across all patient care areas and to process specimens for testing with strict patient identification.
Required are a high school diploma or GED, 1 year hospital or large medical group practice experience, and completion of an accredited phlebotomy program with a clinical internship. PBT(ASCP) registry is preferred, and flexibility with shifts is expected.
Performs phlebotomy in all patient care areas. Processes Laboratory specimens for testing using Standard Precaution and maintaining positive patient identification at all times.
