Valley Medical Group in Amherst, MA is seeking a Phlebotomist to join the Laboratory team at Amherst Medical Center. The role requires collecting blood via venipuncture for patients of all ages, with a focus on accuracy and patient care.

Valley Medical Group is looking for a Phlebotomist to join our Laboratory team and work in our Amherst Medical Center. If you are looking for a dynamic environment, this is your opportunity!

Position:

Location: Amherst, MA
Hours: 40 hours, Monday-Friday generally between 6:30am - 3:30pm. Hours may vary depending on department needs. Exact schedule to be discussed at time of interview.

As a Phlebotomist, the candidate must have the ability to collect blood from patients of all ages through venipuncture. A successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, good customer service skills, and be proficient in computers, data entry, and the operation of equipment.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate from a Phlebotomy Program or Medical Assistant Program
• Previous customer service or medical office experience
• High School graduate or equivalent

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• CPT preferred, but not required
• EMR experience preferred, Athena experience a plus
