Job Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic hands-on Store Manager to lead our team and create an unforgettable experience for our customers in our vibrant candy store. The ideal candidate will embody the joy and excitement that our brand delivers and inspire their team to do the same. As Store Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring the store runs smoothly while driving business success and delivering top-notch customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Inspire, motivate, and lead the team by example, creating a positive and engaging work environment that reflects our store’s mission of joy and excitement. Make an impact by setting and communicating clear goals, and fostering a positive and rewarding store environment embodying our lil sweet treat culture.
  • Staffing: Take charge of hiring, training, and scheduling employees, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts and maintaining a strong, well-trained team. Assess the strengths and developmental opportunities of the team to then mentor and empower.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure smooth daily store operations, including customer service, inventory management, and store presentation to create a disciplined culture that is focused on operational excellence.
  • Financial and Business Acumen: Utilize strong business insights to manage inventory levels, optimize the flow of customers, and monitor sales trends. Accountable for store results.
  • Collaborate with ownership to set and track financial goals, including managing the store's P&L.
  • Store Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store at all times, following NYS hygiene and safety standards.
  • KPI Management: Drive store performance by setting clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for sales, customer satisfaction, and employee productivity. Regularly track and analyze store metrics to ensure goals are met.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure each customer has a delightful, memorable experience by providing a warm and welcoming environment and fostering a culture of exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in retail management, preferably in a high-volume, customer-centric environment.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills. Looking for a problem-solver with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management abilities.
  • Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements:

  • Must have or receive Food Protection Manager Certification.
Availability Requirements

Full Time:5 days of availability required and must be available to work Saturday and Sunday.
