Job summary

The Seattle Aquarium is seeking a Philanthropy Support Specialist who partners with the VP of Philanthropy to advance principal and major gifts. The role handles confidential donor materials, coordinates meetings, and supports event-ready materials and stewardship activities in a fast-paced nonprofit setting.

This full-time, hourly position offers standard weekday hours with occasional event coverage, a hybrid in-office/work-from-home arrangement, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of direct development, fundraising or membership experience.
• Experience handling confidential donor information with discretion.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced nonprofit setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive support to VP Philanthropy and senior fundraisers.
• Coordinate calendars, meetings, materials, and timelines for donor visits.
• Support donor communications, forecasting, and Raiser's Edge entries.
