Job summary

UW-Madison College of Letters & Science, Center for Healthy Minds is seeking a Director of Philanthropic Engagement to lead strategy and implementation of philanthropy, donor engagement and strategic communications. You will build a sustainable advancement program to support our mission of cultivating wellbeing through science.

You will collaborate with WFAA, supervise the CHM Communications and Marketing Director and CHM Development staff, and lead persuasive donor content and events while

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of fundraising experience; 8+ preferred.
• Experience shaping communications strategy for philanthropic efforts.
• Ability to design and execute comprehensive philanthropy strategies across giving levels.

Responsibilities

• Supervise CHM Communications and Marketing Director and Development staff.
• Lead donor engagement and cultivation to grow philanthropic revenue.
• Coordinate with WFAA and center leadership on fundraising initiatives.
• Oversee creation of donor content, proposals, and stewardship reports.
• Train faculty and staff to engage effectively with philanthropic partners.
