MaineHealth is seeking a Philanthropy Development Manager to build relationships with community members, physicians, employees, and major gift prospects. The role supports Stephens Memorial Hospital and Franklin Memorial Hospital in a hybrid setup with on-site presence at both locations.

You’ll connect with community members, donors, physicians, employees, and prospective major gift donors, helping them find meaningful ways to support healthcare in the communities they care about.You’ll manage a portfolio of donors and prospects, develop strategies for major and planned gifts, support annual giving and donor stewardship, and partner with the broader Philanthropy team to grow engagement and philanthropic support .

Summary:
This Development Manager is responsible for cultivating a culture of philanthropy by building strong relationships with community members, physicians, employees, and prospective major gift donors. This role oversees all aspects of major gift fundraising related to the LHCs and donor engagement to support MaineHealth’s mission and strategic goals.
The Manager plays a critical role in coordinating with Philanthropy Services to develop and implement customized strategies to engage donors and prospects. This includes annual appeals, proposal development, estate and planned giving strategies, donor stewardship, pool management, and targeted communications. The Director is accountable for meeting major gift goals, stewarding donor relationships, and managing a portfolio of key donors and prospects. Supervises philanthropy staff as assigned.

The pay range for this position is $83,324.80to $112,736.00per year.
Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
