Job summary

Holy Angels Residential Facility is seeking a full-time Philanthropy Coordinator to manage donor databases, reporting, stewardship, and events.

You will design and implement cultivation strategies, coordinate communications, and assist with grants and giving plans, working closely with the development team to advance the organization's mission.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years of fundraising or nonprofit experience.
• Experience in healthcare or nonprofit sectors; Raiser's Edge preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and donor communications.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Some travel and evening/weekend hours required.

Job Summary

Holy Angels Residential Facility is in search of a full-time Philanthropy Coordinator. The Philanthropy Coordinator will be responsible for database entry and reports, stewardship, cultivation, and assist with events.

Specific Skills and Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and execution of the annual giving strategy through segmentation and engagement efforts, including appeals, campaigns, events, prospect research and qualification, pipeline development, communications, stewardship, and recognition.
• Design and implement cultivation strategies and analyze giving trends to attract, retain, and diversify the individual donor base based on donor interests, engagement history, and giving capacity. Ensure outstanding constituent experience through proactive, high-touch communication and customer service.
• Design and implement cultivation strategies and analyze giving trends to attract, retain, and diversify the individual donor base based on donor interests, engagement history, and giving capacity.
• Create and maintain donor development materials that support the research, qualification, cultivation, and solicitation of annual, major, new donor, and planned giving prospects. Create and maintain donor correspondence, prospect records, reports, and presentations
• Assist with analytics to create and execute individual, foundation, and corporate giving plans, presentations, and manage monthly sustainer programs.
• Utilize standard procedures and guidelines as required for donations processing, data integrity and accuracy, and assist with donation processing, acknowledgements, and giving reports; ensure data accuracy for all individuals, organizations, and other transaction-related donation correspondence. Ensure quality information is researched and captured using online and cloud resources.
• Assist with grant proposals, letters of intent, grant writing and reporting; create proposals.
• Identify and assist in management of stewardship plans for annual fund/sustaining donors and coordinate segmented donor communication including recognition programs, giving societies and personalized outreach to strengthen donor loyalty.
• Assist the Philanthropy and Marketing team in the execution of marketing, development, and fundraising plans in support of the organization and its projects, programs, events, and all other duties assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills

• Minimum two-five years of demonstrated success in fundraising, development, nonprofit, or marketing/public relations.
• Experience in healthcare, public health or community-based nonprofits as well as with Raiser's Edge or nonprofit CRM equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including creating, drafting, and delivering donor-facing content.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and other cloud resources.
• Some travel is required; personal transportation is therefore necessary.
• Availability for occasional evening and weekend hours based on needs of the organization.

Education

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
