Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 5 years of fundraising experience required.
• 5 years of direct individual fundraising experience preferred.

• Strong organizational, strategic planning, and project management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with a donor-engagement focus.
• Ability to build trust and collaborate with diverse stakeholders and leadership teams.

Responsibilities

• Raise transformational support through major gifts and philanthropy.
• Secure $4 million+ annually through major gifts.
• Manage and grow a portfolio of qualified major gift prospects and donors.
• Develop and execute personalized cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies.
• Partner with fundraising volunteers to strengthen donor engagement.
• Build meaningful partnerships with clinical and administrative leaders across Texas Children's.
• Collaborate with internal partners to advance fundraising priorities for key programs.
• Identify opportunities to align donor interests with organizational priorities.
• Collaborate for greater impact in strategy sessions focused on major gift prospects.
• Support Office of Philanthropy initiatives, campaigns, and signature events.
• Contribute to fundraising and communication strategies that advance organizational goals.
• Maintain accurate donor records and portfolio management data.
• Use data to inform strategy, measure progress, and strengthen donor relationships.
