Job summary

Career Legal, a leading international law firm, seeks a Commercial Real Estate Associate to join its Philadelphia office in PA. The ideal candidate has 3–8 years of commercial real estate transactional experience and will handle sophisticated deals.

You will advise on transactions, manage due diligence, negotiate documents, and collaborate with partners and clients in a fast-paced environment. Prior large law firm experience is preferred, along with strong drafting, negotiation, and teamwork

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of commercial real estate transactional experience
• Experience with acquisitions, dispositions, real estate finance, joint ventures and/or development
• Large law firm experience preferred
• Strong academic credentials
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
• Ability to take significant responsibility for complex transactions
• Highly organized, proactive and detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on a broad range of commercial real estate transactions
• Handle acquisitions and dispositions of commercial real estate assets
• Work on real estate financing transactions
• Assist with structuring and negotiation of joint ventures
• Draft and negotiate purchase agreements, financing documents, JV agreements, and other transactional documents
• Manage due diligence and other aspects of transactions from initial stages through closing
• Work closely with partners, clients, and other members of the firm's transactional teams
