Job Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality software for embedded control systems in the electrification propulsion space.
  • Ensure compliance with safety requirements, government regulations, and internal policies (e.g., MISRA guidelines).
  • Design, develop, and implement physics-based and control-related requirements to enhance mechatronic controls and diagnostic strategies.
  • Test and demonstrate software functionality and readiness.
  • Use automated test tools in build environments, test benches, and vehicles to verify performance at controller, system, and vehicle levels.
  • Collaborate with Systems & Safety, Validation, Electrical Architecture, SDV, Calibration, and Vehicle Performance teams.
  • Apply Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies to ensure software quality.
  • Utilize CI/CD pipelines for efficient development, testing, and deployment.
  • Define software unit, HIL, and vehicle tests based on customer expectations and system requirements.
  • Integrate and validate software components on benches and vehicles.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Computer) or Computer Science.
  • 2+ years of experience with embedded controls software.
  • Proficiency in C programming.
  • Experience with MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • High integrity with the ability to navigate ambiguity.
  • Demonstrated innovative, customer-centric thinking.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Computer) or Computer Science.
  • Experience with:
    • Auto Code and Python scripting.
    • Tools such as JIRA, GIT, and Scaled Agile Framework.
    • Controller communication, diagnostics, and complex device drivers.
    • MISRA guidelines.
    • Communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, ARXML, Ethernet.
    • Electrification controls and hybrid systems.
