Job summary

TransMedics, Inc. is seeking PIC Captains for positions across the United States, with higher need on the East Coast. The PIC Captain, as PIC, is the final authority for safe operation of the aircraft and must comply with FAA regulations and company manuals.

Essential functions include conducting operations, maintaining records, supervising crew, and coordinating with maintenance. Applicants should have 3,000 total flight hours, 1,500 PIC hours, FAR Part 135/91 knowledge, and ATP/EMB-505 rating

Qualifications

• Must have 3,000 hours total flight time.
• 1,500 hours PIC time.
• Working knowledge of FAR Part 135 and Part 91.
• Basic computer proficiency – Microsoft Office and iOS.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conducts aircraft operations and related duties per manuals.
• Ensures all flight and passenger records are complete.
• Supervises crewmembers in the performance of duties.
• Maintains compliance with flight time limits and rest requirements.
• Coordinates maintenance and timing with Operations Control Center.
• Performs preflight, post-flight, and routine servicing per policies.
• Ensures international travel documents are valid and current.
• Maintains confidentiality regarding client aircraft operations.
